Russia polar bear 1997 set of 3 gold coins

This is the 1997 Polar Bear set of 3 gold coins from Russia. This set consists of three gold coins: the 200 ruble polar bear gold coin, 100 ruble polar bear gold coin and 50 ruble polar bear gold coin. It comes from the “Protect our World” series.

On the obverse of the Russia Polar Bear coin in the center is the two-headed eagle. This was designed by the artist I. Bilibin. The inscriptions along the rim show the value in rubles at the top, and at the bottom – “БАНК РОССИИ” (BANK OF RUSSIA). The letters below indicate the metal mark, fineness, fine metal content, and mint mark.

On the reverse of the gold coin Russia Polar Bear there is an image of a polar bear against the background of a sailing ship at sea and flying birds. The inscription along the edge shows this: “СОХРАНИМ НАШ МИР” (PROTECT OUR WORLD).
