Strategic tips for coin collectors help to build a collection that is not only emotional, but also structured, comprehensible and retains its value in the long term.
This compact training covers four topics that are often neglected in everyday collecting: how to document and maintain a collection, how to realistically assess its value, what is important when selling, and how to pass it on to the next generation.
The course is aimed at two groups: experienced collectors who want to organize their collection and prepare it for the future, and heirs who have inherited a collection and are faced with the question of what to do with it – often without prior numismatic knowledge.
The second scenario is more common than you might think. A collection built up over decades ends up with relatives who can’t assess its value and is sold for less than it’s worth. This can be avoided if the proper documentation is created while the owner is still alive.
