A unique feature of the Big Five collection is the creative reverse design, which features two halves of an animal face. If you place two such coins next to each other, a complete animal portrait is created. In this case, a series would represent a leopard pack.

The front of the coin shows the image of a leopard, under which the country of issue “SOUTH AFRICA”, the name of the series “BIG FIVE” and the year of issue “2020” are indicated.

Back Details :

The reverse of the coin features two sides of a leopard face. Centrally positioned between these images are the denomination “FIFTY RAND”, the weight “1 oz” and the clarity “Au 999.9”.
