Information:
The 9,302 km long Trans-Siberian Railway, which connects Moscow with Vladivostok, Siberia’s most important transport artery, is the longest railway line in the world. The 7,500 km long Siberian section of the railway runs from the Ural Mountains via Omsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Taishet, Bratsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Chita, and Khabarovsk to Vladivostok. Built between 1891 and 1916, the Trans-Siberian Railway has been used for container traffic between Europe and Japan since 1967.
