You see here the first issue of the Noah’s Ark series from the year 2017 in gold in the minting quality Proof. This edition was issued at that time only very strictly limited.

Front:

On the front you will see the eponymous motif of Noah’s Ark in a symbolic scene from the biblical story of Noah’s Ark, in which Noah sent a dove that returned with an olive branch. Noah’s Ark is depicted in the center of the motif. In the background the Armenian mountains with Mount Ararat are illuminated by the sun. In front you can see the dove. Noah’s Ark is written in Armenian along the top edge, and NOAH’S ARK is written along the bottom right edge.

The coat of arms of Armenia is depicted as a state emblem on the reverse of the coins. Right below the coat of arms is the weight 1 gr. and the fineness Au 999.9 is specified. On the left below the Armenian coat of arms you can see the minting stamp of LEV. The denomination in drams (100 drams) in English and Armenian is located just below the coat of arms. Under the denomination you can see the year of mintage 2017. The lower border inscription reads REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA, this is indicated in Armenian in the upper border inscription.
