This is the 1 oz Reverse Proof quality edition from 2024 of the famous Libertad gold coin from Mexico.

The special feature of this gold coin is the grading with PR70 as a First Strike issue by the PCGS. There are only 40 copies of this edition, and since the First Strike label is only awarded to the first editions, it can be assumed that no further copies will be added to the PCGS census. About the Libertad gold coin:

On one side of the Libertad gold coin you can see Victoria, the goddess of victory, as a symbol of Mexico’s independence. The motif for this was the monument El Angel de la Independencia in Mexico City. In the background of the Libertad 2024 Mexico 1 oz gold coin you can see a depiction of the two volcanoes Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl. Additionally imprinted are the fineness and the year of minting.

The other side of the Libertad gold coin features Mexico’s national coat of arms and the text “Estados Unidos Mexicanos” (“United States of Mexico”), surrounded by ten historical forms of the coat of arms.
