This gold medal was minted in 1963 to commemorate 400 years of the founding of the city of Durango. The publisher was the Banco de Mexico. This edition has been certified very high by the NGC with MS66.
This gold medal has the same weight as a Mexican gold coin of 50 pesos (Centenario). Another plus for collectors is that this medal is extremely rare on the coin market.
