This is the 2012 Krugerrand issue in proof quality.
What is special about this specimen is that it is a so-called First Strike 300, which means that this coin is one of the first 300 produced by the Mint. This was certified by the NGC with the highest grade PF70 Ultra Cameo.
Front:
The obverse of the Krugerrand gold coin depicts the world-famous portrait of Paul Kruger, after whom the series of Krugerrand coins was named. Paul Kruger, then President of South Africa (1883 to 1902), founded the mint from which the South African Mint emerged.
On the edge of the coin was stamped the country of issue in English and Afrikaans.
Back:
The reverse of the Krugerrand gold coin depicts a springbok motif with a stylized South African steppe landscape in the background. Likewise, the coin’s fine weight, fineness, and precious metal are shown on the obverse of the coin.
