Krugerrand 2007 First Strike Set Proof Gold 4 coins

This is the 2007 Krugerrand First Strike Set in Proof/PP (Polished Plate) mint quality, consisting of 4 gold coins from 1 oz to 1/10 oz. The set is completed by an elegant wooden box and the numbered certificate. The mintage for this set was extremely low at 200 issues.

Front of the Krugerrand coins:

The front of the Krugerrand gold coin features the world-famous portrait of Paul Kruger, after whom the Krugerrand coin series was named. Paul Kruger, then President of South Africa (1883 to 1902), founded the mint from which the South African Mint emerged. The issuing country is engraved on the edge of the coin in English and Afrikaans.

Back of the Krugerrand coins:

The reverse of the Krugerrand gold coin depicts a springbok motif with a stylized South African steppe landscape in the background. Likewise, the fine weight of the coin, the fineness and the precious metal are depicted on the obverse of the coin.
