This is the 1 oz Krugerrand gold coin from 1969.

The gold coin was certified by the PCGS and graded with a very high grade of PF68 Deep Cameo (DCAM). To date, only 2 editions have been rated better by the PCGS and only four others also with PF68 DCAM.

Front:

The obverse of the Krugerrand gold coin depicts the world-famous portrait of Paul Kruger, after whom the series of Krugerrand coins was named. Paul Kruger, then President of South Africa (1883 to 1902), founded the mint from which the South African Mint originated. On the edge of the coin, the issuing country was stamped in English and Afrikaans.

Back:

The reverse of the Krugerrand gold coin depicts a springbok motif with a stylized South African steppe landscape in the background. Likewise, the fine weight of the coin, the fineness and the precious metal are depicted on the obverse of the coin.
