Krugerrand 2013 Privy Mark Queen Elizabeth – 60 Years of Coronation – 1oz Proof Gold – NGC PF70 UCAM

This is the Krugerrand Mintmark issue from 2013. The 1 oz gold coin bears the Privy Mark in honor of the 60th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.

Like all Privy Marks, the Mintmark edition has a very small circulation.

In addition, this edition is certified by the NGC with the very high grade PF70 Ultra Cameo. There are only 155 comparable editions and of course this one is then a top pop.

The obverse of the Krugerrand gold coin depicts the world-famous portrait of Paul Kruger, after whom the series of Krugerrand coins was named. Paul Kruger, then President of South Africa (1883 to 1902), founded the mint from which the South African Mint emerged.

On the edge of the coin was stamped the country of issue in English and Afrikaans.

The reverse of the Krugerrand gold coin depicts a springbok motif with a stylized South African steppe landscape in the background. Likewise, the fine weight of the coin, the fineness and the precious metal are depicted on the obverse of the coin. In addition, you can see the “60th Anniversary Coronation Queen Elizabeth” anniversary mintmark.
