Design:

This anniversary coin features Walter Ott’s iconic sugar maple leaf design, which has characterized the Silver Maple Leaf (SML) since 1988. Black rhodium plating gives the background a deeper, matte texture, while the engraved maple leaf shines in brilliant silver. The reverse bears the inscriptions “CANADA,” “FINE SILVER 2 OZ ARGENT PUR,” and the purity grade “9999.” The obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt, engraved with “10 DOLLARS” and the year “2019.”
