Rare gold edition of the Conservation series featuring the Great Indian Rhinoceros . Minted in 1974 at the Royal Mint, Llantrisant . The specimen presented here in NGC MS67 shows very homogeneous fields, clearly defined contours and an overall convincing presentation. The design is by Norman Sillman ; at the same time, the date VS 2031 refers to the Nepalese Vikram Samvat calendar.
