Mexico – 1963 – 4th Centenary of Durango – NGC MS66
This gold medal was minted in 1963 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the founding of the city of Durango. It was issued by the Banco de Mexico. This edition was certified very highly by the NGC with MS66.
This gold medal has the same weight as a Mexican 50-peso gold coin (Centenario). Another advantage for collectors is that this medal is extremely rare on the coin market.
