Description
This is the 2021 1 oz issue of the famous Libertad gold coin from Mexico.
On one side of the Libertad gold coin you can see Victoria, the goddess of victory, as a symbol of Mexico’s independence. The motif for this was the monument El Angel de la Independencia in Mexico City. In the background of the Libertad 2021 Mexico gold coin you can then see a representation of the two volcanoes Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl. Additionally imprinted are the fineness and the year of minting.
The other side of the Libertad gold coin features Mexico’s national coat of arms and the text “Estados Unidos Mexicanos” (“United States of Mexico”), surrounded by ten historical forms of the coat of arms.
The edge of the coin is fluted.
