In the center of the coin is a relief portrait of G.I. Nevelskoy in a naval officer’s uniform. In the background on the left a flying bird and on the right a grid with geographical coordinates and a sailing boat, below the dates in two lines: 1848 and 1855. At the top along the apex the inscription: “The Expedition of G.I.Neveskogo”.
