Bilibin, below the semicircular inscription “Bank of Russia”), framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions on the edge: above “100 rubles”, below “2000”, on the left metal designation, purity grade of precious metal and mint mark.

On the reverse – a snow leopard on a tree trunk, getting ready to jump; in the background – a flying bird, outlines of mountains; on the circle – the inscription: “Save our world”.

History

The snow leopard lives in the Primorsky region of the Far East. Its body length reaches 130 cm and the tail length up to 105 cm. The snow leopard is threatened with extinction because its food supply is decreasing and it is kept in zoos (bred in captivity). It is listed in the Red Book of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources.
