On the obverse of the coin is a panda holding a bamboo branch in his arms and the inscription 99.9% (which stands for the fineness of the gold of the coin) and Chinese characters.

Back:

On the reverse of the Panda China gold coin is the Hall of Harvest Prayer, which is also known as the Temple of Heaven. This temple complex is located in the south of the cosmopolitan city of Beijing and has been part of the UNSECO World Heritage Site since 1998. Above the Temple of Heaven there is a Chinese character: “Zhonghua Renmin Gongheguo”, which translates as “People’s Republic of China”. Also visible is the year of minting, which is 1982.
