You see here gold coin 100 rubles CCCP Olympics 1980 in Moscow, minted in 197 in proof quality.
During the time of the Soviet Union, a lot of gold coins were minted for various occasions and state events. Among them, the 100 rubles CCCP gold coins from the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow are probably the most famous.
The 1/2oz gold coins of the Moscow Olympics series with face value 100 rubles were issued in 1978-1980.
Obverse: In the center of the obverse (where the face value is indicated), the Soviet coat of arms is large compared to other coins. And on 2 sides the SSSR state inscription. Below the line is the face value of the 100 ruble coin.
Reverse: There is no denomination here, but there is usually a relief showing what subject the coin is dedicated to. In this case, the center is Luzhniki Stadium, then Lenin Stadium. On the right you can see LMD minting, which means that the coin was minted in Leningrad.
