You see here the 100 pesos gold coin from Cuba from 1992 with the motive “Saint George Palace” from the series “The Year of Spain”.

This gold coin was dedicated to Saint George Palace. Saint George’s Palace is a covered sports hall built as part of the facilities for the 1992 Olympics and used for hosting various athletics disciplines and later for concerts, other sports and gatherings.

In the region of Valencia, in the Balearic Islands and in the south of France, Catalan is spoken, a Romance language with a very similar structure to Spanish and Portuguese, but many different words; as a rule, Spaniards and Portuguese can understand Catalan well, but there are many words that differ from Spanish and Portuguese.

This coin has a small edition of only 225 pieces.

Additionally, this gold coin has been certified by the NGC with the PF67 Ultra Cameo grade. Only three of these coins have ever been graded higher by the NGC.
