This is the Rwanda Nautical 1 Oz PP Endeavour from 2018. It shows an image of the Endeavour, a flagship of James Cook, with which he took his first voyage of discovery in 1768. This is depicted with a maritime map and maritime tools, such as binoculars on the one hand and a rudder on the other, in the background. Around the edge of the coin is the inscription “Nautical Ounce”, “2018” and “1 oz Fine Silver 999”.
The reverse of the Rwanda Nautical Endeavour coin features the Rwandan coat of arms with the inscription “Bank Nauru Y’U Rwanda” and “Amafaranga 50 Mirongo Itanu”.
The mintage of this coin is 1,000 pieces worldwide, which makes it very popular, especially among collectors.
