Description
On November 11, 1966, the Reserve Bank of Rhodesia issued gold coins with denominations of 5 pounds, 1 pound, and 10 shillings to mark the first anniversary of Rhodesia’s declaration of independence.
These coins, produced by the South African Mint in Pretoria, have a fineness of 916.666 thousandths and were produced in the minting quality Proof. The edges of the coins are milled.
