This is the 1 oz Proof edition from 2019 of the famous Libertad gold coin from Mexico. This edition has been certified by PCGS with the maximum grade PR70 DCAM (Deep Cameo).

On one side of the Libertad gold coin you can see Victoria, the goddess of victory, as a symbol of Mexico’s independence. The motif for this was the monument El Angel de la Independencia in Mexico City.

In the background of the Libertad 2019 Mexico 1 oz gold coin you can see a depiction of the two volcanoes Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl. Additionally imprinted are the fineness and the year of minting.

The other side of the Libertad gold coin features Mexico’s national coat of arms and the text “Estados Unidos Mexicanos” (“United States of Mexico”), surrounded by ten historical forms of the coat of arms.
