Libertad 2020 Mexico 1 oz gold coin

This is the 2020 1 oz issue of the famous Libertad gold coin from Mexico.

Front:

On one side of this coin you can see Victoria, the goddess of victory, as a symbol of Mexico’s independence. The motif for this was the monument El Angel de la Independencia in Mexico City. In the background of the Libertad 2020 Mexico 1 oz gold coin you can then see a representation of the two volcanoes Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl. Additionally imprinted are the fineness and the year of minting.

Back cover:

The other side of the Libertad gold coin features Mexico’s national coat of arms and the text “Estados Unidos Mexicanos” (“United States of Mexico”). This motif is surrounded by the ten historical forms of the coat of arms.

The circulation for the Corona year is only 1,100 copies. The edge of the coin is fluted.
