Description
This is the Mexico Centenario 1943 gold coin with a value of 50 pesos from the mintage year 1943. One of the special things about this vintage is that, after a hiatus since 1931, this was again the first vintage of 50 pesos minted by the Banco de Mexico. Another distinctive feature is that instead of the nominal, the fineness of the coin has been struck twice.
In addition, the mintage number of about 89,400 pieces is the lowest of all vintages and thus the gold coin is also very popular among collectors.
